Oveja Bath & Body is a brand that specializes in crafting premium bath and body products using sheep milk from our own pastured sheep on our farm in Fairplay, Maryland. Our product range includes bar soaps, body wash, foaming sugar scrubs, body butters, lotions, and triple lanolin lip balms.

2. Why sheep milk?

Sheep milk is rich in vitamins, minerals, and natural fats that are beneficial for the skin. It's also known for its gentle and nourishing properties, making it ideal for skincare products.

Yes, our products are cruelty-free, and we prioritize sustainability. Our sheep are treated with care, and we use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible.

5. Do you use any artificial additives or preservatives in your products?

Yes, we do use preservatives. Milk has a funny way of turning sour or even into yogurt or cheese with the introduction of microbes. To prevent this, we use 1% Phenoxyethanol as a preservative in our products as well as a small amount of Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate, and Potassium Sorbate to further preserve our milk. We also add a chelator (Disodium EDTA) and we adjust the pH -- all of which helps make an inhospitable environment for microbes to survive. Our safe usage rates of preservatives and techniques to make product safe is in such a small amount, which is much better than putting a contaminated product on your skin.
